Help Me, Help Others

At Seaux Gentilly, every stitch begins with a story—one woven from the warmth of home, the spirit of giving, and the belief that handmade comfort can change lives. Rooted in my New Orleans upbringing and now deeply connected to the vibrant, diverse, and resilient Houston community, the Help Me, Help Others initiative reflects a desire to give back to the city I now call home.

Every blanket created carries intention, artistry,  and care—and through this initiative, that warmth extends directly into the Houston area. With each purchase, you’re invited to join our mission by donating a skein of yarn.   These skeins become handcrafted blankets for individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Houston, as well as soft,  comforting “stuffies” for children navigating home removals and emergency transitions.

Houston is a city built on heart. Whether it’s a blanket wrapped around someone on a cold night, or a stuffed toy placed in the hands of a frightened child, these handmade pieces offer more than physical comfort—they offer reassurance, dignity, and a reminder that they are not alone.
